POSITION SUMMARY: The assistant-principal’s primary responsibility is to assist the principal with leading the school and maintaining quality instruction in the classroom, as well as, searching for new material that may be added to enhance the overall program. They will be actively involved in teacher training and evaluations. Responsible for overseeing the testing of all new students entering TCS and will help facilitate the identification, and recommendation for students who are developmentally young and or have learning differences.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Texas State Teacher Certification; 4+ years proven teaching experience; experience in other administrative leadership areas within the school is a plus; ability to manage personnel and students; ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data; exceptional organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
