POSITION SUMMARY: Connections/Discipleship Pastor is responsible to develop strong leaders and teams to help people connect with Trinity and progress through their journey of discipleship. In addition, this position will oversee the First Time Guests, New Salvations, Baptism process, along with encouraging enrollment in Growth Track and Pastoral responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Degree preferred. Minimum 5 yrs. Pastoral job experience preferably non-profit environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications. Experience managing data base information and software. Required to make small group presentations and take the lead in orienting all volunteer associates. Requires managerial, organizational and interpersonal skills. Must have high level of interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various issues, and prioritize work. Work requires continual attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on direct end-user interaction. Must be a team player, with a strong desire to collaborate with others. A motivated self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and set priorities without direct supervision. Able to build and lead teams across multiple departments.
